APPOINTED POSITIONS
AVAILABLE ON ANNUAL BASIS
Montana PTA has annual appointed positions that we are looking to appoint at the conclusion of the annual State Convention. If you are interested in furthering your leadership skills one of these might be right for you.
ON BOARD POSITIONS
The following positions require attendance at quarterly Board Meetings and convention.
Cultural Arts Chair: Promotes cultural arts in Montana’s public schools. Also oversees the Reflections Coordinator.
Convention Coordinator Chair: Plan, organize and implement all convention activities and events.
New Unit Development Chair: Works with committee and the NPTA Extension Liaison to establish new units in schools and communities within the state.
OFF BOARD / NON-VOTING POSITIONS
Non-voting positions are not required to attend quarterly board meetings, but must attend convention if asked.
Website Coordinator: Maintains and updates the Montana PTA website. (This is a non-voting, off board position)
Reflections Coordinator: Plans and carries out the Montana PTA Reflections program including the Reflections Recognition Showcase at convention. (This is a non-voting, off board position)
These positions are appointed on an annual basis for a term of one year. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience leadership at the state level, increase leadership skill through NPTA training opportunities, and gain PTA experience.
